CFKman's
prizegames.com Speed Draw Card Counting page
This web-based card-counting program allows you to
track each card while it is dealt. This serves two
purposes:
- to convince yourself that prizegames does
really deal only from a single deck of cards for the game Speed Draw
- to keep track of cards in the deck so you can better
predict what cards are left in the deck and make better choices
about what to keep and what to throw for each hand. NOTE that
this isn't really practical in realtime play! Even if you can mark off each
card very quickly, your timer will run down too quickly so you
won't get too many points. But this is still an interesting
exercise.
Do this:
- Resize this browser window so it is very narrow but also very high
(to make it easier
to skip back and forth between this window and your prizegames
Speed Draw window).
You might wish to use the right mouse button to un-check some of the
standard menus near the top of the browser window and therefore
make the viewable window area "taller".
- Position your prizegames game console window to the left of
the screen so you can fit both the game console and this page
at the same time
- Click on the "Start keeping track" button below
- During play, check off in the table which cards you have
seen. You can then periodically click "submit" to get a
better graphical representation of the cards used/left grid
- When you start a new deck, click the "Start a New Deck"
button to reset the grid
